Which Plan is Right For Me and How Much Will it Cost?

Short Answer:

Long Answer:

Read Below to understand what goes into a treatment plan recommendation and an estimate

There are several factors that determine the right plan and the cost. A startup cost will be added to the first treatment to cover the added time and material we will use to bring your pest problem under control as quickly as possible.

Your Home is Unique
  • The size of your home is one factor in determining cost.
  • The type of home you have will usually affect how often you require treatment. Apartments, duplexes, row houses, twins, and other attached homes often need frequent service due to the transfer of pests from nearby neighbors.
  • While keeping a clean home will reduce the severity and chances of an infestation occurring, you simply don't have control of the condition of your neighbors' home. This is why it's important to stay up to date on your protective treatment on a regular basis, especially in an attached home.
  • Is your home brand new, vintage, or somewhere in between? As your home ages it will become more susceptible to pest infestations due to cracks or other openings in the walls, around doors and windows. Once a rodent chews a hole it will be a possible point of entry for future pests until it's repaired. Sometimes these holes are difficult or impossible to access and repair. These factors can affect how often you need treatment.
Your Pest Problem is Unique

The types of pests you are encountering will also determine how often you need treatment. Bed bugs can be a tough pest to eliminate but it is possible with a thorough initial treatment and a follow-up treatment two weeks later. A monthly plan is not necessary for bed bug control. Ants can often be eliminated without ongoing treatments as well. Roaches are different and due to the way they spread from home to home they often require ongoing treatment to keep them under control.

All pests are different and the approach to controlling them will vary depending on where they are in your home and how large their colony or population has grown.

Your Environment is Unique
  • Does your home back up to the woods or a tall grassy area? Rodents, ticks, and wildlife are more likely to be an issue when you are nearby a property that isn't manicured.
  • Do live next to an abandoned house? Are there several abandoned houses on your block? Abandoned houses can be breeding grounds for pests that will continuously spread out to surrounding homes in search of a new supply of food and shelter.
  • Is your home close to a large warehouse or industrial zone? These large buildings are common breeding grounds for pests. The type of pests these buildings harbor can vary depending on what they store or manufacture, though rodents are very often the main pest.
  • Do you live in a city, where neighbors' pest can easily pass from home to home? In cities, construction and road work often disturbs nests and sends a flood of pests into surrounding homes.

All of the above factors will determine how often you should have your home serviced. The more factors you have working against you, the more often service will be needed to keep control of the pests. The good news is that no matter your situation, we can gain control of your pest problem.
